Lead Plumber
Zager Global, Inc. is now filling new positions for our rapid growing diversified company.
We are seeking skilled Working Hands on Lead Plumber Mechanics with commercial construction experience for project work.
Qualified candidates must:
• have 10 + years experience, a clean driving record, provide references and pass a background check. All our foreman’s and lead plumbers are Hands on/ Working Foremen. This is not a finger pointer position.
• be capable in all aspects of new commercial plumbing and renovations and most importantly, be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• hold experience in soldering and fitting copper pipe, plumbing fixtures, pipe hangers, and cast iron as well as PVC sanitary piping, roof drainage, cut and threading steel pipe, and Victaulic also helpful. Our company also does chilled and hot water piping, HDPE fusion welding, and various types of other piping materials used in the trade.
Rough In
• Able to run backhoe, bobcat, tampers
• Read blueprints
• Pull measurements accurately to locate plumbing fixtures with only batter boards
• Able to utilize manpower properly to get the job done on time
• Knowledge of waste, water, vent, gas, condensation piping systems in commercial application
• Must be willing to work late to finish the job
Top Out
• Knowledge of waste, water, vent, gas, condensation piping systems in commercial application
• Read Blueprints and SPEC sheets
• Pull measurements accurately to locate plumbing fixtures off of columns (layout)
• Urinals, toilets, lavatories, water fountains, water heaters, boilers, trap primers
• Wall hung carriers, ADA, shower valves, floor drains
• Knows proper measurements for all plumbing fixtures
• Able to utilize apprentices properly to get the job done on time
• Must be willing to work late to finish the job
Finish/Final
• Able to set all plumbing fixtures
• Must be able to do a neat job fast
• Must be willing to work late to finish the job
